Guides Brownies Rainbows

I can’t believe we have nearly finished the first term of the year, lots of the units have all been busy holding pamper sessions for those special mums spoiling them with nail painting, serving tea and cake and entertaining them with hand made puppet shows.

2nd Hagley Rainbows were presented with their badges and a certificate for completing and gaining the quality mark, they have now been asked by CHQ to test a new activity which they hope to role out nationally with the new Girl Guiding Programme later in the year, so a big well done to them. 1st Hagley Rainbows & 3rd Hagley Brownies will be finishing off the term with a visit from the animal man. Both rainbow units this term have completed the seasons Badge by making bird feeders, hedgehog cakes, dragon fly’s using water bottles and glow sticks, they had great fun achieving this Badge.

Both units had a dance night, one with a dance teacher and the other unit made Pom-poms as well as making up their own dance. Guides have been very busy to, 1st have been trying some different activities based around keeping fit and also having a swimming evening and a Taekwondo session, all in which goes towards the Agility Badge. 2nd Hagley Guides have had quite a few girls complete their Baden Powell award, which is a fabulous achievement well done girls. This term, all units have held a World Thinking Day evening to celebrate our founders Birthdays and think about all the Guide members from around the world.
