Hagley Women's Institute

The speaker at the June meeting left members roaring with laughter at his talk entitled “A Policeman’s Lot”. Alan Rogers stories of his many amusing experiences during his years of service in the police force were very enlightening on the funny side of police work, which helped to temper the more serious things with which a policeman has to contend. Members were most grateful to him for his talk and for sending us away with smiles on our faces.

In September Hagley WI begins it’s new programme for the year 2017/2018 when we look forward to a variety of speakers at monthly meetings and many extra activities provided by our own WI and by the Worcestershire Federation of WI’s. In the meantime we shall be enjoying the July meeting and, in August, a coach outing for lunch and an afternoon visit to Ludlow.

Members are always delighted to meet visitors and prospective members so, if you think you may be interested, please come to Hagley Community Centre, 2pm on the 18 September to hear a talk on “Living in Dubai” or on  885215
