How quickly this year seems to be going. It’s June already, sun and ice creams to come, hopefully.
Our two planned April meetings were sadly both cancelled. Liz Shiels, on 26 April, couldn’t join us because of family illness but from her magic bag, Sue was able to produce a fun quiz and we all had a laughter filled evening. David Hollis, on 26 April, unfortunately had Covid but Lisette was able, at the last minute, to replace him with Geoff Tristram an artist from Stourbridge, who kept us well entertained with pictures of his beautiful sketches, paintings, cartoons and not forgetting his jokes!
This month we welcome two speakers who both have intriguing titles for their visits. On June 14th “To Love and to Cherish” is the title of Kath Reynolds’ talk and on 28 June, Jeff Woods is “The Singing Speaker”.
We look forward to finding out what these evenings will hold. We meet at St. Saviour’s Hall at 8.00pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays in the month. We really look forward to seeing you there.
