Current news from Hagley Rambler Scouts

Hagley Ramblers Scout Group shut their doors on Fri 13 March and have found ‘Zoom’! All 5 sections have weekly Zoom meetings, including throughout the Easter holidays, catching up with friends as well as participating in virtual scouting. Hereford and Worcester Scouts have developed a set of Shirejammin badges to complete online whilst in lockdown by adapting the existing badges creatively. Amongst the adapted activities have been sleepovers in your own den inside or in your garden, learning how to spell your name in sign language, making a sundial, learning how to tie specific knots, the ‘necker flippin’ challenge, drawing a map of where you live, making bunting and joining in with the clapping every Thurs night at 8pm.
We have had to stop hiring our hut to the public but this will restart once the Government rules change. We have 2 x 100m2 halls, meeting room, kitchen and toilets. Contact hagleyramblerscout@btinternet. com if you would be interested to hire it for meetings, parties etc. Our fitness classes will restart soon
